The Brazilians were dumped out of the MTN8 Cup, after losing to Phunya Sele Sele in a penalty shoot-out at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, but Mosimane feels that his side were not ready.
"They're stubborn, they can afford to play this type of game and we have to play and we have to go forward and try and win, " Mosimane said after the game.
"We pushed, we finally got our goal but we never kept the game, they came back more stronger after we scored.
"We tried to play, we tried to win, but you can see that we are not ready, you can see the injuries but it's OK, we need to go for other cups, we need to go for the league.
Mosimane added that he was forced to substitute and the Man of the Match, Keagan Dolly.
"Credit to them (Celtic), they hung in their, they played the same way when we lost 5-0, they just keep hanging in their, we broke the ice but after that we suffered injuries, Keagan (Dolly) had a hamstring from the U23, Mashaba didn't have the legs to carry on, so those were forced substitutions."
