Ncikazi Says Kaizer Chiefs Are Not Invincible
Maritzburg United head coach Mandla Ncikazi has declared that his side are capable of upsetting MTN8 holders Kaizer Chiefs when the two teams clash on Wednesday, August 5.   Read: Chiefs Host Maritzburg In MTN8   Ncikazi, who served as Steve Komphela's assistant last season at the KZN-based outfit will now come face to face against his former mentor in his first official assignment as United coach.   Ncikazi says though he respects his predecessor Komphela, he told the Siya crew that they will go into the game knowing what to expect in what will be a tough encounter.   "I am honoured to coach Maritzburg and face Chiefs in my first official game. I know they are a good team but they are not invincible. We can beat them and win. It will be a great game and we are ready for that," Ncikazi observed.   The Team Of Choice was one of only three teams to beat Chiefs in the league last season and will look to dump the MTN8 holders out of the competition and progress to the semi-finals.
