Ajax Cape Town midfielder Ndiviwe Mdabuka admits his side conceded a 'stupid goal' in their MTN8 first leg semifinal against Bidvest Wits on Saturday night.
Henrico Botes' second half goal cancelled out Toriq Losper's opener to see the game ended all-square ahead of the second leg on 29 August 2015 in Johannesburg.
Speaking after the match where he received the 'man of the match' award, Mdabuka said his side played well and will be ready for the second leg.
"I'm very excited to play in this cup again, but I think on Saturday we played very well," said the holding midfielder.
"Unfortunately we conceded a stupid goal at the end, but we will keep on going.
"We are going to give them a tough game at their home ground."
Granwald Scott left the field injured in the second half and Mdabuka admits their side are struggling with injuries at present, but they will bounce back.
"As a team, we faced a lot of difficulty with injuries," he added.
"There are a lot of injuries in the team, but we will all be back as soon as possible and the team will start growing again."
