Chiefs Edge Pirates On Current Form

Chiefs Edge Pirates On Current Form

With both Soweto giants having nine matches under the belt in the 2014/15 Absa Premiership campaign, Soccer Laduma stats reveal Kaizer Chiefs edge Orlando Pirates in both defence and attack.

Amakhosi have displayed some fantastic football in the early stages of the new PSL campaign, with an impressive seven clean sheets from nine matches, only conceding two goals.

Bucs have conceded seven goals in the nine matches, however, they managed to pull their defence together to keep four clean sheet, including three in a row against Mamelodi Sundowns, Polokwane City and Bidvest Wits, respectively.

On the attacking side, the Glamour Boys have scored 19 goals in the nine matches they've played, which mean that they score 2.1 goals per match on average, with 8.26 shots per goal.

The Buccanneers have scored a total of 18 goals in their nine matches, with an average of 2 goals per match and 7.4 shots per goal.

Kaizer Chiefs have a 100% win record so far this season winning nine games out of nine, while Orlando Pirates holds a 66% winning percentage, with six wins, two draws and one loss.

With both teams showing excellent defending and attacking stats, we expect it to go down to the wire, with a moment of individual brilliance to be the deciding factor.
