Date: 03 November 2018
Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium
Baroka FC and Mamelodi Sundowns will battle it out for a spot in the Telkom Knockout semi-finals at the Peter Mokaba Stadium this afternoon.
The match will begin at 15h00.
Pitso Mosimane's charges got to this stage of the tournament after defeating Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0 in the round of 16 and followed it up with victory in the league by the same scoreline over Chippa United last week Sunday.
Masandawana are desperate for cup success after a shaky start to their league campaign, while they were also knocked out of the CAF Champions League and MTN8. They last won the Telkom Knockout in 2015 after beating Kaizer Chiefs 3-1 in the final.
Sundowns will be without the services of goalkeeper Denis Onyango, who misses out with a shoulder strain.
Meanwhile, Bakgaga qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition after sinking Golden Arrows 2-0 in the round of 16 thanks to goals from Collins Makgaka and Tebogo Sodi.
The Limpopo based outfit were knocked out of the Telkom Knockout at the quarter-final stage last season by eventual champions Bidvest Wits and will want to avoid a similar fate.
