Telkom Knockout Last 16 Starting XI: SuperSport United v Baroka FC 19 October 2019

Teams: SuperSport United and Baroka FC

Date: 19 October 2019

Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium

Baroka FC will start the defence of their Telkom Knockout title when they visit SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday night.

The match will get underway at 20h15.

Kaitano Tembo's army were in action before the FIFA break, after winning the MTN8 title after edging Highlands Park 1-0 in the final thanks to Bradley Grobler's solitary goal.

SuperSport have won the Telkom Knockout title only once in 2014 under former coach Gordon Igesund. Last season they reached the quarter-finals of this tournament but they were knocked out 1-0 by Kaizer Chiefs.

On the other hand, Bakgaga will want to repeat the success they had in 2018 after beating Orlando Pirates on penalties in the final to claim their first major trophy in the professional ranks.

However, they are currently going through slump in the league, having lost their last three games in a row, the last of which was a narrow 1-0 loss to Maritzburg United just before the international break.

The sides have already met in the league this season, with Matsatsantsa beating Wedson Nyirenda's men 2-0 at the end of August in Polokwane.
