Nedbank Cup
Teams: Polokwane City v African All Stars
Date: 08 March 2017
Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium
Polokwane City will host ABC Motsepe League outfit, African All Stars in a Nedbank Cup last 32 tie this evening at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 19h30.
Rise and Shine are yet to win since the turn of the year. They have drawn all their four league matches, which included a 0-0 draw with Baroka last weekend.
Polokwane City are fresh from a 0-0 draw with Baroka FC in their last outing in the league and may well keep in mind that the Nedbank Cup competition is known for shocking results where the minnows often turn the tables and defy the odds.
The Polokwane-based team are without experienced striker Rodney Ramagalela and Thapelo Tshilo due to injuries.
Rise and Shine reached the quarterfinal stage of the competition last season, before losing 2-0 to Baroka.
Meanwhile African All Stars are known as Amazozo - they play their football in the ABC Motsepe League in Gauteng.
The fixture is the repeat of the last year's round of 32 meeting between the two teams in the competition. Polokwane City won that tie 2-0.
Here's how they line up:
Polokwane: 1. Chigova, 2. Semenya, 24. Hlongwane, 15. Klaas, 22. Mbonani, 4. Tshilo, 6. Vilakazi, 16. Mngomezulu, 20. Phiri, 19. Ndou, 10. Tlolane.
