Black Leopards get their Nedbank Cup journey underway with an encounter against tournament debutants North West University on Sunday afternoon.
Leopards were scheduled to take on Bidvest Wits on Thursday evening in a re-scheduled Absa Premiership clash, but the encounter was postponed due to inclement weather.
The Limpopo out did get back to winning ways last weekend though after defeating Stellenbosch 2-1 in interim coach Allan Clarke's first game in charge.
Leopards only made it to the roud of 16 in last year's edition, where they lost to the Clever Boys on penalties after it ended 1-1 after extra-time.
Lidodaduva will come up against NWU, who secured their spot in the last 32 as one of the eight representatives from the ABC Motsepe League play-offs.
NWU are managed by former SuperSport United and University of Pretoria defender Karabo Masehela.
