Teams: SuperSport United v AmaZulu
Date: 20 January 2021
Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium
Benni McCarthy takes his AmaZulu side to an in-form SuperSport United on Wednesday evening, looking to get back to winning ways.
After starting his reign with a 3-1 win over Chippa United, Usuthu registered a loss to Kaizer Chiefs and back-to-back draws against Bloemfontein Celtic and Maritzburg United.
Usuthu have slipped to 10th in the DStv Premiership standings with just two wins to their name, three points adrift of the top eight.
The Durban-based outfit will have to be at their best to stand a chance of claiming maximum points against SuperSport, who are unbeaten in their last seven league matches.
Kaitano Tembo's played to a goalless draw with Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns over the weekend, but a win this evening could see them rise to second spot if Swallows fail to beat Chippa United.
SuperSport did the double of AmaZulu last season with a 1-0 win on home soil before claiming a 2-0 victory in Durban.
