While Sundowns raced into the Cup final with a 3-0 victory over Golden Arrows, Swallows fans were left with head in hands as they fell to an embarrassing 4-0 semi-final defeat against Cape Town City.
It's only the latest in a series of disappointing results for the Dube Birds, which last month resulted in head coach Brandon Truter being placed on "special leave" and acting head coach Simo Dladla taking over.
It is far from ideal preparation for a clash against the league leaders, particularly as Swallows are in desperate need of points down in 12th place on the table.
