Kaizer Chiefs will return to Premiership action against Sekhukhune United on Sunday afternoon after missing the last two matches.
DStv Premiership
Teams: Kaizer Chiefs v Sekhukhune United
Date: 12 December 2021
Venue: FNB Stadium
The Soweto club was recently hit by a wave of Covid-19 infections at their training base, with 31 members of the playing and backroom staff testing positive for the coronavirus.
Amakhosi subsequently pulled out of their Premiership clash with Cape Town City FC at FNB Stadium, saying they could not honour their fixture.
Chiefs did a fresh round of testing at the start of this week and reported a further five infections and later revealed they would not be in attendance for their clash with Golden Arrows.
High-flying Sekhukhune, meanwhile, will be hoping for a return to winning ways after a 1-0 defeat to Marumo Gallants in midweek.
This is after the DStv Premiership new boys tasted their first defeat of the season after a 2-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns.
They followed up on that defeat by claiming a 1-0 victory over SuperSport United before recording their second defeat of the campaign on Wednesday.
