Chippa United and Maritzburg United will both be searching for their first victory in the DStv Premiership when they clash on Tuesday evening at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
The Chilli Boys started the new campaign with a credible 1-1 draw away to Cape Town City and almost snatched another point against Kaizer Chiefs last Tuesday on home soil but were let down by a late an own goal by Gregory Damons to lose 1-0.
Meanwhile, the Team of Choice's woes has continued into the new season after they ended the last campaign with two losses in a row.
Eric Tinkler's troops have lost all their three games so far, including a 2-1 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8 quarter-finals.
In their last outing against the Citizens, Maritzburg had to play the second stanza with ten men after defender Riyaaz Ismail was sent off on the stroke of half-time in their 1-0 defeat.
In their meetings last term, Maritzburg took four points off Chippa after claiming a 1-0 win in the first-round clash at home while the return fixture ended in a goalless draw.
