Bakgaga Ba Ga Mphahlele weren't able to move from the foot of the table over the weekend following a 1-0 loss to Stellenbosch FC in the Western Cape province.
Royal AM meanwhile revived their campaign on Sunday when a 1-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs moved them back into the top-four bracket.
The return of Kgoloko Thobejane in the dugout of Bakgaga haven't been fruitful, as they are yet to win following the mentor's return which has seen four defeats and two draws from six matches.
Royal AM have just lost one of their previous five matches across the league so far this season, and held Bakgaga to a stalemate in the first round clash last month.
