AmaZulu will be looking to hold on to their top eight spot in the DStv Premiership when they play Chippa United for the second time in three days on Tuesday afternoon.
Teams: AmaZulu v Chippa United
Date: 14 December 2021
Venue: Jonsson Kings Park Stadium
Time: 15h30
Usuthu were frustrated to their sixth consecutive draw after they were held to a 1-1 scoreline by Chippa on Saturday, as Lehlohonolo Majoro's opener for AmaZulu in the first stanza was quickly cancelled out by Bienvenu Eva Nga.
Benni McCarthy's charges took their overall tally of draws to 11 from 16 games, the most in the league, although they are unbeaten in their last eight matches.
AmaZulu held on to eighth spot on the log despite the share of the spoils with the Chilli Boys, with 20 points and they still have chance of turning their season around, just three points behind third-placed Orlando Pirates.
The Gqeberha-based side, meanwhile, remained in relegation danger after a draw over the weekend on home soil, in 15th place with 11 points and a win in the quick reverse fixture will take them out of the drop zone if 14th-placed Swallows don't get maximum points against Orlando Pirates.
