Teams: Maritzburg United v AmaZulu
Date: 16 January 2020
Venue: Harry Gwala Stadium
AmaZulu will be desperate for points when they visit rivals Maritzburg United on Friday evening at Harry Gwala Stadium.
Usuthu remain in danger of the Absa Premiership relegation after going down 2-0 to SuperSport United last Sunday.
Jozef Vukusic's charges dropped to third-from-bottom on the table, just a point above bottom sides Black Leopards and Polokwane City, who are both locked on 16 points in 15th and 16th spots respectively.
Meanwhile, the Team of Choice have no relegation worries so far after extending their unbeaten run to six matches with a goalless stalemate against Chippa United last Saturday.
The first round clash between the sides ended goalless at King Zwelithini Stadium at the beginning of December last year, which extended Maritzburg's unbeaten run against AmaZulu to seven clashes.
The last time Usuthu beat United was back in March 2014 in a 3-1 win thanks to a brace by Bongani Ndulula and another goal from midfielder Goodman Dlamini.
