Teams: Highlands Park v Baroka FC
Date: 01 February 2020
Venue: Makhulong Stadium
Highlands Park will be desperate to end their losing streak when they host relegation-threatened Baroka in the Absa Premiership on Saturday evening at Makhulong Stadium.
The Lions of the North are alarmingly going through a rough patch after losing three consecutive league games with heavy score-lines after conceding ten goals in that bad run.
Highlands' latest defeat was a 3-1 loss at the hands of Orlando Pirates two weeks ago, which saw the side drop to 11th on the table.
Meanwhile, Bakgaga boosted their chances of survival with a crucial 2-1 win over Maritzburg United last Sunday thanks to goals by debutant Ethen Sampson and a last minute winner by Tshidiso Patjie.
As a result, The Limpopo side went three points clear of the drop zone in 13th place while they will also have coach Dylan Kerr on the bench after finally securing a work permit.
Highlands won the corresponding fixture 2-1 in September last year in Polokwane and extended their unbeaten run against Baroka to five matches.
