Teams: Golden Arrows v SuperSport United
Date: 01 February 2020
Venue: Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium
SuperSport United will be out to keep their title chances alive when they visit Golden Arrows in the Absa Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
Matsatsantsa's title ambitions took a knock after losing to rivals Mamelodi Sundowns two weeks ago but they restored their pride with a 3-0 thumping of Chippa United last Friday.
Kaitano Tembo's army are placed third on the table, just one point behind second-placed Sundowns and 11 points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
Meanwhile, Arrows stretched Chiefs to their limit in their last outing last Saturday but succumbed to a stoppage time winner by Lebogang Manyama, as they ultimately lost 1-0.
Steve Komphela's charges dropped to tenth on the table and need to rediscover their form if they are to finish inside the top eight.
The sides have already met twice this season, where Abafana Bes'thende edged United 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the Telkom Knockout and three days later played to a goalless draw in the league clash at the same stadium.
