Absa Premiership
Teams: Golden Arrows v Bloemfontein Celtic
Date: 23 August 2017
Venue: Princess Magogo Stadium
Bloemfontein Celtic play their first away game of the Absa Premiership campaign when they travel to Durban to face Golden Arrows.
Having fought back to earn a draw against Kaizer Chiefs in their previous encounter, the men from Bloemfontein will be gunning for all three points and will be hoping for a better showing from their attackers if they are to get a positive result tonight.
Like their opponents, Arrows also played to a 1 – 1 draw in their previous encounter and will feel that a point away from home is not a bad result to get their campaign underway.
Abafana Besthende will be playing their first home game of the season and will be counting on home ground advantage to carry them through.
They will need a lot more than just relying on home ground advantage as their attackers failed to assert themselves in their previous match and will need the likes of Lamola be more clinical in front of goals.
Arrows are still without the services of coaches Clinton Larsen and Mandla Ncikazi, while Siyanda Dube and Danny Phiri are also suspended,
With both teams aiming to get their win column ticking, goals and entertainment can be expected.
Here's how they line up:
Arrows: 32. Gumede, 18. Nonyane, 21. Mngwenge, 5. Mzava, 38. Dlamini, 8. Cele, 28. Bilankulu, 11. Mahachi, 17. Jooste, 12. Magubane, 41. Lamola.
Celtic: 30. Tignyemb, 12. Mahlasela, 22. Rikhotso, 27. Ndengane, 10. Mabena, 33. Motshegwa, 5. Letlabika, 35. Baloyi, 11. Hotto, 8. Phalane, 45. Nyundu.
