Teams: Chippa United v Orlando Pirates
Date: 01 February 2020
Venue: Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
Orlando Pirates will be eager to stretch their unbeaten streak when they visit Chippa United in the Absa Premiership on Saturday evening.
The Buccanners are enjoying their best form so far this season, after extending their unbeaten run to six matches under Josef Zinnbauer with a 1-0 win over AmaZulu last Saturday.
The Soweto giants are currently pushing for continental places on the log after moving up to fourth in the standings.
On the other hand, the Chilli Boys, who revived their campaign late last year after Norman Mapeza took over, have taken their foot off the pedal a bit in the new year.
Chippa's latest setback was a 3-0 loss to SuperSport United last Friday, that extended their winless run to three matches. As a result, United dropped down to 12th on the table.
The Buccanners have been dominant over Chippa in the last few years, as they have won the last seven meetings between the sides.
The last time the Chilli Boys beat Pirates was a 2-0 victory back in May 2016.
