Bafana Bafana have their sights set on a spot in the final round of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers when they take on Ghana this evening.
Teams: Ghana v South Africa
Date: 14 November 2021
Venue: Cape Coast Stadium
Time: 21h00
Hugo Broos' charges are top of the group with 13 points from five matches, while Ghana have 10 points from the same number of matches.
The Black Stars need only a 1-0 win to progress as they would make it through due to having scored the most goals in the group - with them and Bafana both having netted six times.
Bafana are coming off the back of a 1-0 win over Zimbabwe on Thursday thanks to a Teboho Mokoena header in the first-half. Meanwhile, Ghana were held to a 1-1 draw by Ethiopia with Andre Ayew's strike being cancelled out by Getaneh Kebede.
Bafana won the first tie between the sides 1-0 at FNB Stadium but have never won in Ghana.
Ethan Brooks and Victor Letsoalo are back in the starting line-up, as Keagan Dolly Njabulo Ngcobo drop to the bench.
