Mokwena made ten changes for the encounter as a number of fringe players got some playing time.
"So good to see [Abubaker] Nasir on the pitch, even when Bongani Zungu came in, Ntando [Nkosi[ the young one, high level of maturity," Mokwena told SuperSport after the game.
"Thapelo [Morena] played three positions today, Terrence (Mashego) played three positions, in and out of possession, so we always do crazy things but amazing.
"We just keep going, let's finish the year strong, sometimes people doubt us but I don't know why but anyway that's life and that's football."
Mokwena also praised Sipho Mbule, who scored and was named Man of the Match.
"Ja they call him Master Chef, he cooks, he's a good human being but I could say the same about everyone," he said.
"So I'm very happy for Sipho but I'm happy for the whole group, I'm happy to see Denis (Onyango) on the pitch.
"I'm happy to see Lebo (Maboe) get an assist, Rushine (De Reuck) on the pitch, an amazing group you know. Individual awards are always a reflection of the collective effort, so congratulations to everyone," he added.
