Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena was full of praise for his charges after defeating Orlando Pirates on Wednesday night.
Lucas Ribeiro's fifth goal of the DStv Premiership season was enough to guide the Brazilians to a seventh successive victory.
Mowkena was pleased with the character and passion displayed by his side in the close encounter at Orlando Stadium.

"Yeah let's congratulate Mamelodi Sundowns against a very good side and I would presume a lot of people thought we would lose today, my boys were incredible," Mokwena told SuperSport after the game.
"So much passion, so much character, tactically super, so proud of these boys. I thought we played well, of course we're going to be under pressure, the last 10, 15 minutes, we're playing against a good side that does not want to lose to us but I think for the majority of the game we were in control."
In a game of little chances, Mokwena continued and explained that what made him happy was the fact that goalkeeper Ronwen Williams did not have much saves to make.
"And even when we were a little under pressure and defending a bit deeper than we would have liked, we didn't have too many situations where Ronwen (Williams) had to make saves which is what makes me very happy," he said.
"So I want to congratulate the boys and Mamelodi Sundowns for winning a very difficult game today."
