The Siya crew has been informed that a loan move is still on the cards for a Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder.
The former Sundowns Diski Challenge captain, Promise Mkhuma, who nursed an injury during some part of the first half of this season, is yet to make an appearance for the club this campaign.
Word reaching the Siya crew is that the process of finding a club for the 21-year-old is well underway.
Mkhuma is a big part of Sundowns' plans for the future, but game-time at this stage would be limited for the player, with so many attacking options for the technical team. The recent addition of Surprise Ralani also means there is more competition in the team.
The Siya crew has been informed that Cape Town City have not closed the door on getting the player on loan for the rest of the season after an attempt was made in the final stages of the last transfer window.
It's understood Tshwane rivals SuperSport United have been considered as a possible destination for the player.
An announcement is expected to be made on the player's future in the coming weeks.
