Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies were crowned champions of the COSAFA region and will once again compete in the CAF Women's Champions League later this year.
The Brazilians managed to secure a 2-0 victory over Botswana outfit Double Action Ladies in the final on Friday afternoon at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

Chuene Mofiri opened the scoring for the South African outfit after just four minutes, but they had to wait until the 53rd minute for Nonhlanhlaa Mthandi to double the lead and seal the win.

As a result, Sundowns will now represent the COSAFA region at the third edition Women's Champions League, which takes place in Ivory Coast in November.
Jerry Tshabalala's side won the inaugural Women's Champions League in 2021, while they were runners-up last season.
Sundowns also picked up a couple awards after the final, as Andile Dlamini was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament while Andisiwe Mgcoyi finished the as the tournament's top scorer.
