More Fixture Changes For Mamelodi Sundowns In The Absa Premiership

The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that up to two Absa Premiership fixtures have been changed to accommodate Mamelodi Sundowns' CAF Champions League schedule. 

It was confirmed yesterday that Sundowns' league clash against Bloemfontein Celtic was brought forward from April 08, and will now be played on February 19. 

The PSL has since confirmed that their Absa Premiership fixture against Cape Town City has also been rescheduled, although for a later date.

Here are the confirmed changes according to the PSL:

"Mamelodi Sundowns is currently scheduled to play Cape Town City on 01 March – the same weekend as CAF Champions League quarterfinals. This fixture will move to April 2020. Date and kick-off time will be confirmed in due course."

"On 08 April 2020, Mamelodi Sundowns was originally scheduled to play Bloemfontein Celtic. This fixture will move to 19 February 2020. Kick-off time will remain the same: 19h30."

Sundowns will take on Al Ahly in the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League, with the two legs set to be played on February 28 and March 06.
