Mamelodi Sundowns could be award maximum points after Moroka Swallows' no-show on Wednesday evening at Loftus Versfeld.
The Premier Soccer League announced earlier on Wednesday that the Dube Birds are unable to honour matches against Sundowns and Golden Arrows this week.
Swallows then released a statement of their own revealing there is a dispute between the players and management.
Despite Swallows' notice, Sundowns showed to the stadium on Wednesday evening and even announced their starting line-up at 19h00.

Sundowns came out to the pitch as usual and lined up, before returning to the dressing room as Swallows were a no-show.
"This evening's scheduled DStv Premiership fixture between Mamelodi Sundowns and Moroka Swallows which was set for 19h30 at Loftus Stadium did not take place due to the opposition not being able to fulfill the fixture," the club tweeted.
