Mamelodi Sundowns have discovered their opponents for the inaugural African Football League quarter-finals.
The tournament is scheduled to get underway in October and will feature the eight highest-ranked African clubs for the first edition.

The Brazilians were drawn against Angolan side Atlético Petróleos de Luanda in their quarter-final tie.

Should Rulani Mokwena's charges get past the Angolan side, they will face the winner of the quarter-between Tanzania's Simba SC and reigning African champions Al Ahly.
Sundowns do not have good memories of their last clash against Petro after being bundled out of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals on the away goals rule in the 2021/2022 season.
