Kodisang, who is no stranger to South African football, having previously played for the now-defunct Platinum Stars and Bidvest Wits, has expressed that his decision to return was influenced by personal and family considerations.
"It's not the only reason, there are a lot of factors also. A lot of them are personal, but I would say that being closer to the family it's one of the reasons," Kodisang told GameOn on Radio2000.
Despite his return, Kodisang remains open to exploring opportunities abroad should they arise again.
Kodisang also acknowledged the allure of Sundowns' winning culture, which played a role in his decision to join the team.
"It wasn't intentional, but I didn't mind and like I said before, Sundowns are like one of the teams that I wanted to play for back home because you know everyone likes winning trophies and being in the best team," Kodisang added.
The South African public may soon witness Kodisang's official debut for Sundowns, potentially as early as next Sunday when the team faces Polokwane City in the quarter-finals of the MTN8. His integration into the team and potential impact will be closely watched by fans and critics alike, who are eager to see how his European experience translates into the local league.
