Contract uncertainty surrounds one of the Premier Soccer League's most consistent right-backs, with negotiations between club and player appearing to be in question.
Despite his current contract reportedly coming to an end on June 30, 2025, there is no new deal yet for one of Mamelodi Sundowns' dependable defenders.

As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, the Brazilians have been in talks with Bafana Bafana defender Khuliso Mudau for a new contract, but it's believed that there is no new deal yet.
Now Mudau's representative Steve Kapeluschnik has revealed to Soccer Laduma that indeed there has been talks between the two parties regarding the new contract, but they haven't agreed on anything yet.
Talking exclusively to the Siya crew, Kapeluschnik discussed the latest on the situation.
"We have been negotiating for some time now but we haven't found each other yet on a new deal. There is no agreement on a new contract yet," Kapeluschnik told the Siya crew.
Meanwhile, a Chloorkop insider with intimate knowledge of the club's contract strategies stated that the club is looking at exercising the one-year extension they have on Mudau's contract.
"Yes, it's believed that the new deal is not yet concluded as talks are ongoing but the club is using its power to exercise the one-year option they have. That's what they are apparently looking at for now while a new deal is being negotiated. They still value him and that's why they took him to the Club World Cup. Maybe talks will resume after that," the insider told Soccer Laduma.

Mudau joined Sundowns in 2020 from Black Leopards on a five-year contract with a one-year option. He is currently the Bafana Bafana preferred right back for coach Hugo Broos. This season he played in many Betway Premiership games.
The situation presents an interesting dilemma for the Brazilians, who clearly value Mudau's services but have not yet reached terms on a long-term extension. With the defender's stock rising through his national team performances and continental exposure, finding financial common ground may have become more challenging.
The activation of the one-year extension would buy Sundowns time to continue further negotiations while ensuring they don't lose a key defensive asset in the immediate future.
