Mamelodi Sundowns lifted their ninth Absa Premiership trophy yesterday, winning the league with a two-point gap from runners-up Orlando Pirates.
The league title went right down to the wire on Saturday, with both Sundowns and Pirates challenging for the trophy, however, after their victory over Free State Stars at the Goble Park Stadium, Pitso Mosimane and his technical team lead the club to their ninth Absa Premiership title.

The likes of Phakamani Mahlambi, Lebohang Maboe and Andile Jali all celebrated their first piece of silverware in the Ka Bo Yellow colours, ending the season on a high, despite falling short of a spot in the CAF Champions League final.
Despite Mosimane's previous comments about not being inspired by the league campaign this season, it was he who lifted the trophy at the end of the Absa Premiership campaign.
