Sundowns forked out a handsome sum of R46m to land the player from Lanus in January this year and there were high expectations from the Argentine at the Brazilians.
In the 13 appearances he made for Sundowns, he managed two goals and one assist.
He was part of the club's pre-season preparations in Austria but he will be spending the 2024/25 season in his home country.
