Anele Ngcongca has left Mamelodi Sundowns to join a new club in the DStv Premiership in the 2020/21 season.
As revealed by the Siya crew over a week ago, AmaZulu have been keen on landing Ngcongca to strengthen the team after their slow start to the season.
The Gugulethu-born defender has arrived at the Durban-based club to complete the deal, having already passed the medical.
Usuthu have identified a need to strengthen the squad with an experienced right-back after both Thembela Sikhakhane and Siphesihle Maduna picked injuries and have been unavailable for Ayanda Dlamini's team.
In their next match, AmaZulu are scheduled to visit Sundowns at Loftus Versveld Stadium on November 22, and depending on his registration and availability, Ngcongca could play his first match for the KwaZulu-Natal outfit against his former teammates from the Chloorkop outfit.
