Yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) Soccer Laduma received a video made on a cellphone of what appears to be very angry Kaizer Chiefs fans bearing down on a Metro Police officer. The official is seen to back away from the oncoming crowd and then seems to pull something from his hip and point it at the clearly frustrated fans.

When we contacted the person who sent the video clip, who at this stage chooses to remain anonymous, the individual made some serious allegations against the Metro Police as well as described how this situation escalated so quickly. Another eyewitness corroborated these very serious allegations against the traffic officer.

At this time we are trying to make contact with the relevant Metro officials to present them with the video as well as allow them a right of reply to the allegations that have been made.
Once we have both sides of the story we shall publish both the allegations as well as the official statement from the relevant authorities.
