Ramovic's connection to Kaizer Chiefs has been met with enthusiasm, not just among fans but also from the coach himself.
"It's absolutely amazing (on being linked to Chiefs) because it looks like we get recognised, my whole staff and me. But again, nice, yes, we work hard, yes, I work very hard," Ramovic told Marawa Sports Worldwide.
This acknowledgment from one of South Africa's premier football clubs underscores the recognition of Ramovic's diligent efforts and the progress he has made with TS Galaxy.
Since taking the helm at TS Galaxy in the middle of the 2021/22 season, Ramovic faced initial challenges adapting to the Premiership's demands. However, under his guidance, the Rockets have shown significant improvement, climbing to the top-four in the league standings and securing a spot in the final of the Carling Knockout.
This turnaround is a testament to Ramovic's strategic acumen and his ability to inspire growth and resilience within his squad. With a coaching career in South Africa that spans 99 matches, Ramovic boasts a record of 33 wins, 29 draws, and 32 defeats, maintaining an average of a point per match. Beyond these statistics, his journey to obtaining his UEFA Pro License, the highest football coaching certification, reflects his commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
"I needed almost seven years to get the highest education (UEFA Pro License) as a coach. So, of course, my goal is to win one day the league," he said.
Ramovic shared, highlighting his aspirations to clinch the DStv Premiership title, whether with TS Galaxy or another club.
With Kaizer Chiefs having an interim coach in Cavin Johnson, following the departure of Molefi Ntseki in October, speculation has intensified in the search for a leader capable of revitalizing the team and steering them back to their winning ways.
Ramovic's track record, coupled with his ambition and recognition of the importance of hard work, positions him as a compelling candidate for the role. As Chiefs continue their pursuit of a permanent head coach, the speculation surrounding Ramovic's potential appointment adds an intriguing layer to the club's ongoing narrative.
Whether or not he will take the reins at Naturena remains to be seen, but his impact on South African football is undeniable.
