Chivaviro: In Life Change Is Good

With Kaizer Chiefs bringing in a new technical team led by head coach Nasreddine Nabi recently, striker Ranga Chivaviro now discusses how these changes will inspire the club to improve on last season's disappointments.

Speaking during the media open day at Naturena ahead of their Betway Premiership league opening game against Marumo Gallants on Saturday, Chivaviro said every player wants to prove themselves and impress the new technical team.

"Yeah, I think in life generally, change... it is good. The changes at Kaizer Chiefs have brought in good morale. A lot of players have stepped up and that's for the changes that have been happening and we hope to improve for the changes to continue throughout the season," Chivaviro told the media.

"And that it will bring good results to the season. We are ready to start the new season with these changes and the good morale that it has brought in," Chivaviro added.

The former Marumo Gallants striker added that he hopes to remain injury-free this season and continue scoring goals as he has been doing in the pre-season friendlies.

"This pre-season has been good. Last year I didn't have a good start as I got injured during pre-season and I started late. I hope things will work out better this time around as I want to continue scoring as I have been doing in the friendly games. I am happy that I had a good pre-season without injuries and now I am looking forward to helping the team as we start the season on Saturday," Chivaviro observed.

Chivaviro is optimistic about the potential progress under the leadership of head coach Nabi. The changes at Chiefs have brought a positive atmosphere, and Chivaviro is eager to contribute to the team's success by staying fit and continuing his goalscoring form when the official matches start this weekend.
