Pule Mmodi is currently one of Kaizer Chiefs' most in-form players loved by the club's supporters – but the speedster admits that he found it quite challenging when he first arrived at the Phefeni Glamour Boys.

The requests of the Chiefs faithful for the last few seasons were granted when Chiefs roped in Mmodi from Golden Arrows at the start of the season.
The midfielder became an instant hit amongst the club's faithful with his marauding runs down the flank for Amakhosi.
And while his performances have picked up considerably, Mmodi admits he had challenges adapting to life as a Chiefs player upon his arrival.
"I am very happy to be here at Kaizer Chiefs. In the beginning it was a challenge to adapt, given the status of Kaizer Chiefs. It is not easy to play for a club like Kaizer Chiefs, but I think things have been going well for me and I want to keep on giving my best to help us win and please the fans," he told the club's media department.
Mmodi, much to the delight of the supporters, scored a scorcher of a goal against Stellenbosch, which earned him the the Goal-of-the-Month award for August.
"I was very happy to win Goal-of-the-Month. It has given me the confidence to believe I can significantly contribute to the team, like getting a goal against Polokwane City, although I don't think that will win Goal-of-the-Month," he explained.
Mmodi will be key to Chiefs' hopes of beating Richards Bay FC, who they face at FNB Stadium on 23 December, with kick off scheduled for 15h30 pm.
