The Zimbabwe national team will have a number of players from the Premier Soccer League, including Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates stars, in this year's Africa Cup of Nations.

Chiefs defender Teenage Hadebe and teammate Khama Billiat, as well as the Pirates duo of Marshall Munetsi and Kudakwashe Mahachi are among many PSL players named in Zimbabwe's squad for the upcoming AFCON by former Free State Stars coach Sunday Chidzambwa, who is the man in charge of the Warriors.

Only five Zimbabwe-based players made it into the team as the selectors opted for players plying their trade outside of the country.

As confirmed from Zifa, the same squad will feature at the Cosafa tournament to be held in Durban from May 25 to June 8.
Zimbabwe also have a friendly international match lined up for June 8 against Nigeria, and it has been announced that arrangements have been made for 18 of the players from the 34-member squad will leave the Cosafa squad at some point to play against the Super Eagles.
After the Nigeria match, the Warriors will travel to Egypt for the AFCON tournament, which is scheduled to take place from 21 June to 19 July.
