The Tunisian tactician reportedly wanted his to bring his own backroom staff when he was first approached by Chiefs last year, but the deal did not materialise.
This does put some doubt over assistant coach Dillon Sheppard and his future at Naturena.
Sheppard joined the Soweto giants as part of Gavin Hunt's technical team back in 2020 and has remained in that position during the reigns of Arthur Zwane, Molefi Ntseki and interim coach Cavin Johnson.
Nabi still has the Coupe du Trône semi-final coming up, which could be his last game at AS FAR if they end up on the losing side.
