Nabi Calls For 'Time' After Back-To-Back Chiefs Wins

Nabi Calls For 'Time' After Back-To-Back Chiefs Wins

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi says there is still a lot of things to work on after registering their second win of the season.

The Amakhosi defeated AmaZulu 3-1 on Wednesday evening, with Ranga Chivaviro, Gaston Sirino and Inacio Miguel getting the goals.

While Chiefs were impressive in the first half, they were a shadow of themselves in the second period and were lucky not to have conceded more.

"The first thing is we need to give credit to AmaZulu and his coach and we give respect to the coach," Nabi said through a translator on SuperSport.

"First-half was very good, but the second-half…we scored the goals very quickly, so it was really hard to maintain the 3-1 [lead] positively but we still have a lot of to build on.

"It's still a positive result for us."

The Tunisian coach added, "It's still the second match, a construction phase.

"We still have a lot of things to work on and we need some time because it's still the second match only."

The Soweto giants will be back in action on Saturday afternoon when they take on champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
