Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has challenged Kaizer Chiefs that he is willing to take one of their defenders, if they no longer want to use him.
There were high hopes when Chiefs signed Njabulo Ngcobo from Swallows ahead of the 2021/22 season after he had just won the PSL Defender of the Season award.

However, Ngcobo struggled to settle under former coaches Stuart Baxter and Gavin Hunt, even when he was at times played in midfield.
The 29-year old's game time diminished further under head coach Arthur Zwane this past season, following the signings of Zitha Kwinika and Edmilson Dove.
Ahead of the 2023/24 season, Amakhosi have been linked with the signing of TS Galaxy centre-back Given Msimango while another centre-back Thatayaone Ditlhokwe will join the Naturena-based side in July from SuperSport United after he signed a pre-contract in January.
Mogashoa says he's "disappointed" that Ngcobo has not been getting game time and he's willing to take him back if Chiefs do not want to use him going forward.
"Very disappointed, I think he's also disappointed that he did not get game time. I'm open to talks if they (Chiefs) want to send him out, I'm willing to take him," Mogashoa said in an interview on Playing The Field With Shakes Podcast.
Mogashoa went on and explained that he understands why Ngcobo struggled because the pressures are different at Swallows and Chiefs.
"He did very well (at Swallows). I always say to people the pressure at Swallows is not the same pressure at Chiefs. You can be a very good player at Swallows and be a bad player at Chiefs," he said.
"Simply because the weight that you're carrying at Chiefs is so much that after one mistake you find yourself at the wrong side of the fence.
"Whereas at Swallows you make a mistake and recover but Chiefs, (Orlando) Pirates are very difficult to recover from a mistake. I mean they criticise you even for your dress code," he continued.
"I saw them (Chiefs fans) criticising Arthur Zwane saying, 'You can't coach Chiefs wearing a polo neck'. I mean, what is that? Pressures are different you know," he added.

Ngcobo has one season left on his contract which expires in June 2024.
Swallows can negotiate for his services if Chiefs place him on the transfer list.
