Kaizer Chiefs' search for a permanent head coach has been one of the biggest talking points in the PSL this week, and a Belgian coach has surprisingly claimed that his agent had talks with Amakhosi.
A number of names were linked to Chiefs this season and Luc Eymael has revealed, to be specific, that his agent had talks with the club but that it ultimately broke down in a "special way".

"People are asking me about Kaizer Chiefs, but you have to know that also the agent after the deal fell through in AmaZulu and after the coach of Kaizer Chiefs was on thin ice, if I can say like that..." Eymael told Sports Night Amplified with Andile.
"Before, they appointed Cavin Johnson as head coach of development, my agent spoke with Chiefs and unfortunately it seemed that Mr Kaizer (Motaung) Junior responded in a special way to my agent and I wrote him a personal email but he said to me he never spoke to the agent," he continued.
The 64-year-old is now in charge of Aigles du Congo who ply their trade in the top flight of the Democratic Republic Congo. Eymael is no stranger to working around Africa and has coached in the PSL with Black Leopards, Polokwane City and Free State Stars. He had even won the Nedbank Cup with FS Stars in 2018, knocking out Chiefs in the semi-finals.
Eymael provides a timeline of how Johnson was then chosen to take over as Amakhosi caretaker coach until the end of the season.
"I only spoke to Kaizer Junior by email, my agent spoke to him, yes, and my agent placed a player there so I don't want to reveal the name of the player but the player is there.
"I can't say my agent is lying, but at the end of the day you have to take the lessons of that and see what people are thinking or not thinking but I don't want to reveal this message," Eymael said, as he didn't want to elaborate what he means by ''special way''.
When presenter Andile Ncube asked Eymael to state clearly if he has a chance to coach Chiefs one day, the Belgian responded, "I don't know."
The Siya crew understands Eymael was not one of the candidates that Chiefs wanted to replace Molefi Ntseki in the past nor to replace interim coach Johnson in future.
Eymael then cleared up the matter when he spoke to Kickoff about the same incident.
"I contacted Chiefs some weeks before they announced Cavin Johnson as a head coach. It was at that time when my agent spoke to Kaizer Motaung Jnr, and the response was not a positive one," Eymael told Kickoff.
"I wrote him an email, and he said what my agent told me is not true, and that he doesn't even know who my agent was."
In this interview with Kickoff, Eymael went on to explain why he believes he is the right coach for Amakhosi.
