Kaizer Chiefs are understood to have secured the services of midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu from SuperSport United for approximately R5 million, and the Siya crew investigates how the deal was uniquely finalised.
Siya sources close to the transfer have indicated the transfer of Ndlovu to Amakhosi was one of Matsatsantsa's final business transactions before their sale to Siwelele FC.
According to insiders close to both clubs with knowledge of the negotiations, Chiefs are understood to have moved quickly to finalise the deal after SuperSport exercised a one-year option on Ndlovu's contract just days before completing their sale to new owners.
SuperSport United were eventually sold to Siwelele FC.

This is one of the reasons why Ndlovu's link to Chiefs was not accepted by those close to the player, as reported by Soccer Laduma.
"The signing of Siphesihle Ndlovu was believed to have been delayed because SuperSport United were not sure of their future but after exercising his one-year option then the club apparently decided to sell him to Chiefs. Because United were being sold they are believed to have settled for R5 million. That was their final transaction as SuperSport United. It was a bargain which Chiefs didn't want to lose and they agreed to sign him," the insider told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, a second insider stated that Amakhosi's transfer business is far from complete, with further squad adjustments expected upon the team's return from their pre-season training camp in Holland.
"No. He is not the last signing. You know they are still looking at which players they still want to release and which ones they still need to sign before having the final squad for the 2025/26 season (is named). It's believed that they are looking at having between 25 to 30 players for this coming season so that it's a well balanced squad," the second insider told the Siya crew.

Chiefs have been particularly active in the transfer market, having already secured six new signings: Ndlovu, Nkanyiso Shinga, Ethan Chislett, Flavio Silva, Thabiso Monyane, and Paseka Mako—all completed before the team's departure for their Dutch training camp. The Siya crew understands Mako will be out injured for two weeks but he should be able to step up his pre-season preparations after that.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for comment on the situation, but received no response at the time of publishing.
The acquisition of Ndlovu, known for his versatility in midfield, represents another significant addition to coach Nasreddine Nabi's squad as Chiefs look to improve on last season's ninth-place finish and build on their Nedbank Cup success.
