A Kaizer Chiefs legend is hoping for the club to turn the corner and win titles after a long trophy drought.
Chiefs have gone seven years without winning a trophy, having last tasted silverware when they clinched the league in the 2014/15 season.

All eyes were on Amakhosi for the side's tricky away fixture in one of the all-topflight fixtures in this year's Nedbank Cup Last 32 matches this past weekend, Arthur Zwane showed determination in defeating Maritzburg United 2-0 at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Friday, giving hope about possibly going all the way in the competition.
"Kaizer Chiefs is not bad at the moment and I can see that Arthur is trying to get the best out of the club. I am just appealing to everyone to give the coach the support that he needs and I'm happy what the chairman is doing to help the guy. I'm happy what the management is doing to help the coach and Kaizer Chiefs is not a small team. Some of us have played for the team and that is why we would like to see the club winning trophies," said former Chiefs attacker, Abel Shongwe.

"We brought cups to Kaizer Chiefs and that's what the club has always been known for. We are looking at the current generation of players with the hope that they will bring cups to the club. Let them (management) help Arthur by bringing good players to the club so that Chiefs could be an even better team. I am appealing to the supporters to get fully behind the coach," he said.
