Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson has explained why he thinks Wandile Duba would not have trouble dealing with the pressure of playing in the Soweto derby.
Amakhosi's 19-year-old striker scored a wonder goal to open his account for the Soweto giants, as they beat Golden Arrows 1-0 to give themselves a boost ahead of Saturday's derby against rivals Orlando Pirates.

Playing Arrows, of course, is not quite the same as facing Pirates, especially in a FNB Stadium that's expected to be at full capacity come game day.
Johnson, however, is not too worried about the young striker, stating that the Amakhosi product has been preparing for a long time for a moment like this in his career.
"Duba has probably been planning this for the last three years. He's been preparing himself mentally to play a derby. He has been preparing himself mentally to play for Kaizer Chiefs," Johnson said to the media during a Soweto derby press conference hosted by DSTV Premiership in Sandton, Johannesburg, on Thursday.
"He's been preparing himself in the Diski (Challenge) to score goals and what a better time for him, if he gets the opportunity, to score a goal. Then he will just be cementing his place as far as football is concerned."

Duba could get an opportunity to start the derby, considering that the more experienced Amakhosi strikers are currently off form. It's the perfect opportunity for him to show what he can do at the highest level.
Amakhosi, who are in sixth place going into the derby, are in need of a hero and Duba has the potential to make it a memorable day for him and the club's supporters.
