Kaizer Chiefs are leaving nothing to chance as insiders have confirmed the Glamour Boys' plans to make an early return to training following a short break.

Whether or not Chiefs will return with Cavin Johnson as the head coach remains to be seen - but the Siya crew has been informed of the club's plans to prepare for the resumption of the league next month.
Chiefs enjoyed a strong finish to the year 2023 as they managed three wins and a draw from their last four matches.
Coach Cavin Johnson revealed the club's transfer plans, revealing that he had no desire to strengthen the squad – but rather to work with the players he currently has at his disposal.
Following a 10-day break, Chiefs' players and staff are expected to return on 10 January, to begin the first part of their mini pre-season.
"Chiefs will be returning to the village on Saturday. The players have enjoyed a well-deserved break but now it's back to normal before their match against TS Galaxy," said the source.
