Kaizer Chiefs vice captain Keagan Dolly has had four different coaches in two years since joining the Glamour Boys as a free agent two years ago. Having had a similar experience in France, the 30-year-old has opened up on having to deal with the chopping and changing of the men in the dugout.

When Dolly joined HSC Montpellier from Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016, he endured an abrupt start to his European journey as the coach who had signed him in Frederic Hantz, was fired just weeks after his arrival.
His next five months were spent under Jean-Louis Gasset, who was quickly replaced by Michel Der Zakarian, who would ultimately be his last coach at the French club.
Similarly, Dolly upon his arrival at Chiefs in 2021, was coached by Stuart Baxter; however, he has since seen both Arthur Zwane and Molefi Ntseki come and go and is currently under the tutelage of interim coach Cavin Johnson.
Quizzed about the chopping and changing of coaches he has experienced in his career, the 30-year-old lamented the changes it brings not only to his game, but also to the team dynamics.
"The older you get, the little more easy it gets to try and adjust to different coaches and their tactics because of the amount of coaches you've worked with before," he told journalists at a press conference.
"But at the end of the day, football is football and we all play with one ball and the aim is to score goals and not concede. But it gets a easier but it still doesn't make it that easy for a player to just change and adjust but being in the game long enough you get quite used to it."
Dolly could be bracing himself for a fifth coach at Chiefs, as the club are currently in search of a permanent head coach in hopes of ending the club's ongoing eight-year trophy drought.
