Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brandon Petersen has explained his touchline antics, some of which has landed him in trouble in recent times.

Petersen is currently serving a two-match suspension after receiving a red card against TS Galaxy, all this while he wasn't even on the field at the time of his transgression.
It wasn't the first time the 29-year-old raised eyebrows on the Chiefs bench either.
Earlier this season, Petersen was questioned over his passionate rant aimed in the direction of Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson, where he was seen animatedly remonstrating with the veteran mentor.
But the former Bidvest Wits man has explained that his antics stem from his passion and that he gives his players a morale boost in his own way.
"I think it's important for me to try and motivate and try and be that extra bit of support to each and every player in the team, whether I'm playing or not," he told Vodacom.
"Because I know how it feels when I'm on the field and someone gives me that bit of a push, I try to be that extra voice in the ear just to try and motivate them to continue what they are doing because at the end of the day, I know my players and I know what makes them buzz, so for me it's important to know what makes each and every player tick because in moments like that it's when your character is tested, sometimes you need someone to just give you a tap on the shoulder or just give you a kind word to make you want to get up and take the next step," he said.
Petersen will miss Chiefs' game against Polokwane City as he serves the last of his two-match suspension.
