Chiefs last won silverware in the 2014/15 season with the league title.
Despite several coaches that have been tried by the club to change the situation, there has been slow progress in getting the intended results.
Players have come and gone, but results have continued to elude the team in recent seasons and the situation hasn't improved for the club much to the frustrations of some sections of the supporters.
Chiefs are understood to be in search of a coach to replace Molefi Ntseki who is the latest mentor to have been relieved of his duties in October due to disappointing results.
Interim coach Cavin Johnson is expected to return to his position as the Head of Academy.

Stylianou has advised about the changes that the club may need to consider.
"As Kaizer Chiefs' success is based on their outstanding history, the club needs to go back into achieving just that. And the first thing to do to achieve that is to bring in the correct coach, mainly. Secondly, bring in the players with a technical director, and the board that can win you the league title," said Stylianou, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.
