The Siya crew reported on Wednesday that Ekstein, as well as Bhongolethu Jayiya, Khotso Malope and Gustavo Paez, could all potentially face early exits from the club, though at this point there has been no official word regarding any of them.

Now though, with 'Pule' having been linked to other clubs in the Absa Premiership – including rivals, Orlando Pirates – he has posted on his official Twitter account with the short phrase, "Till We Meet Again".

It remains to be seen whether the midfield man is saying goodbye to the Amakhosi faithful as his career with the Glamour Boys comes to an end, though the fact that his current contract is on the verge of expiration – and that he was recently sent to train with the club's reserves – could suggest that his time at Naturena is coming to an end.
