After Kaizer Chiefs won their first trophy in ten years, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Benedict 'Tso' Vilakazi has suggested how they can fully return to their glory days.
Amakhosi not winning any trophy until recently, for the past nine seasons, have been focusing on whether they have the right coach.

As current head coach Nasreddine Nabi is one of only two coaches (including Arthur Zwane, who was relieved of his duties) to start and finish at least one season since Ernst Middendorp in the 2019/20 campaign.
The main focus ahead of the 2025/26 term, is again whether Nabi should continue, after The Glamour Boys missed out on the MTN8 for the second successive season.
Instead, Chiefs should prioritize the type of players they bring on board in the off-season, according to Vilakazi.
"I can go on and on about the quality players Chiefs used to sign. When you look today, I spoke to some of the players and coaches, we talk and they say, 'We're not scared of Chiefs, who should we be scared of when playing against Chiefs?' Vilakazi reasoned on omniaudioafrica YouTube Channel.
"'No one is gonna give us a headache, we're not worried about anyone at Chiefs'. It shows they lost the respect, based on the players that are there at Chiefs. It doesn't give Chiefs that pride.

"Way back, when were were going to play against Chiefs, everyone would be scared, to face the likes of the late Scara Ngobese, (Thabo) 'Tsikitsiki' Mooki, Jabu Pule, Stanton Fredericks. Today when you say Chiefs v Pirates, you're only looking at the other side, to say you wanna see 'Tito' (Patrick Maswanganyi), (Relebohile) Mofokeng, but at Chiefs there's no player who rises to the ocassion," the all-time Pirates leading goalscorer added.
Soccer Laduma has previously reported that at least nine players are facing possible exits at Naturena in the coming weeks alone.
